Viewing and Managing a Content Object [ Apps ]

Here you'll get to know how to view the properties of a Content object and also how you can approve or reject a family as a BIM Manager

Once you've got a few content objects uploaded in your project, you can tap on any of them to access the Content object screen.

Content objects can only be viewed in the mobile app currently by viewers and editors. Managers can additionally approve and reject the objects that are uploaded.

Once you are on the Content Object screen, you will be able to see the details related to the object with the image. Scroll down to see other details as well.

Tap on the existing status (PENDING in the image) to get options to change it.

Tap on the icon as shown (three horizontal lines) to explore options of COMMENT, ACTIVITY and SUPPORT.

The changes made on the mobile app would be visible to everyone on this project instantly. Only Managers can approve or reject content objects.

When you tap on COMMENT, you will be directed to the comments’ page of the content object, where you can view previously made comments and add a comment of yours provided you’re a manager or an editor.

Similarly if you can tap on ACTIVITY, you will be directed to the activities’ page of the content object where you will be able to track all the activities that were performed on the file.
