Viewing and Editing Objects

The dashboard displays all your content objects. Click on any one of the objects to view and edit.

As shown in the image below, you can observe all the details of the object in the Content dashboard.

📓Note

After the object is displayed, you can perform other actions like Editing, Generating in 3D, Viewing activity and comment.

Editing the Object

The pencil icon allows you to edit and annotate the object.

You can edit the name of the object according to your preference simply by typing in the name in the field. Click on the toggle button to switch your unit system to either Imperial or Metric system.

You can select the version of the software from the dropdown menu that appears when you click on the 🔻 icon.

You get the option to select the Omniclass categories for different levels by choosing the option form the dropdown menu.

You can set the LOD of the content object by clicking on the check-box.

You can set the LOI of the content object on the similar grounds as that of LOD.

Click on the 🔻icon to explore OTHER DETAILS.

Click on the check-box to select or unselect the Parametric option.

Set the geometry of the object i.e. 2D or 3D.

You can select the type of Template and type of Placement from the drop-down menu that appears after clicking on the 🔻icon.

Click on ➕ icon to add tags to the content object.

📓Note

To navigate back to the content module, click on Content in the navigation bar located below.

Generating 3D Models

To produce the 3D models, click on Generate 3D inside the object dashboard.

Activity details

You can take a look at all the updates and activities for your object is in the Content module object Dashboard.

Comments

The Comments section allows you to add notes or convey informative queries about your object.
