Managing Content Objects

You can upload your .rfa files in the Content module and then edit, download or even delete the files. Read further to know more about these functionalities.


Edit object

You can edit the details of the content object by clicking on the edit icon ✏️ as shown in the image below.

You can edit the name of the object according to your preference simply by typing in the name in the field. Click on the toggle button to switch your unit system to either Imperial or Metric system.

You can select the version of the software from the dropdown menu that appears when you click on the 🔻 icon.

You get the option to select the Omniclass categories for different levels by choosing the option form the dropdown menu.

You can set the LOD of the content object by clicking on the check-box.

You can set the LOI of the content object on the similar grounds as that of LOD.

Click on the 🔻icon to explore OTHER DETAILS.

Click on the check-box to select or unselect the Parametric option.

Set the geometry of the object i.e. 2D or 3D.

You can select the type of Template and type of Placement from the drop-down menu that appears after clicking on the 🔻icon.

Click on ➕ icon to add tags to the content object.

Download Object

To 📥 Download your object to your computer, click on the download icon as shown in the image below

Delete Object

Deleting an object is simple. Just hover over the 🗑 Delete button and click on the delete button. Because you cannot undo this, you will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the object.
