Intro to planBIM Content

Intro to planBIM Content

planBIM lets you create libraries for digital assets and deploy them across your company or projects. The planBIM Content module acts as a content management system and helps to better organise, find and reuse these assets for AEC projects.

You can upload Revit families to the planBIM web app from your computer or use our Revit plugin. planBIM puts all your objects in the same place – accessible no matter where you are.

Some of the key features that planBIM Content enables are:

Clever Cataloging

The Content module is easy to manage, search, sort and filter. It automatically picks up names and thumbnails of the assets that you upload. It also enables you to view your Revit families in the cloud.

Assigning Properties and Managing Versions

Easily assign properties to your BIM Objects. You can tag before or after you upload, or as per your convenience. planBIM Content automatically manages all versions for your object. You would know exactly what is changed in a particular version and you can revert to a previous version.

Streamline your workflow with clever plugin

Our plugin helps you to focus on the core parts of your job by giving you instant access to planBIM from within Revit, increasing productivity. Browse, filter, and download objects to your project without having to switch between windows – directly from your favorite software. Less time clicking, more time creating!
