Linking elements to Scope

Linking elements to Scope

The plugin gives you the option of linking the element to its Family or Type as per requirement. Once linked to any one of these categories, the element is instantly observable by other team members of the project. Therefore, there is no requirement of synchronising the information you input. The Revit plugin would automatically sync your linked data via the cloud. Annotations for the same are listed below:

1. Select button
Clicking this button will lead to your element getting selected in your Revit window.

As you click on the Select button, you will observe that the plugin will highlight the element family has been highlighted inside the Revit window as shown below.

2. Isolate button
Clicking this would isolate your object from the rest of the objects inside your Revit window. 

The selected Facade is now isolated from the rest of the objects as shown below.

3. Link Family button
Linking elements is crucial to your project. Hence, there is a Family button, as shown below, wherein you can link the element to a Revit family. 

4. Link by Type button
You can also link objects by the Type of Revit families available in your project.

The element will now show up in the list of objects in Revit.
