Sign in to planBIM inside Revit [Plugin]

You need a planBIM account to be able to sign in to planBIM. Creating a planBIM account is simple and you can refer the process here.

Further, to use the features of the planBIM plugin for Revit, you need to make sure that your planBIM account has a designated password.

After clicking on Sign In icon as shown in the image, the plugin window will appear in Revit window. Enter your planBIM email ID and password to sign in.

If you have not set a separate password for planBIM, you will observe a dialogue box prompting you to create a new password inside the plugin window. This may be the case if you've used a social login on our web or mobile apps.

Now a new web page will open in a new window.

Sign in using your social login by simply clicking on your social login medium as shown in the image.

Setting a new password

After signing in, click on your display picture, a drop-down window will appear, click on EDIT PROFILE as shown to go to your profile settings.

Now you would be directed to your Profile Settings page, click on Account & Security.

Now set a new password which you wish to use to sign in your planBIM account from any device including Revit Plugin.

So, enter a password, re-enter it for confirmation and click on SAVE button that gets enabled after re-entering the password.

Once you set your password, your Revit plugin is ready to be used.
