Removing yourself from the Workspace

In order to remove a workspace from your list, you’ll need to remove yourself from having access to the workspace.

From the Home screen, click on your profile in the upper right-hand corner and click on EDIT PROFILE

Select WORKSPACES from the Menu.

Click on the Remove Yourself button for the current workspace.

There are 4 cases possible:

1. You are the only owner of the workspace

When you click on REMOVE YOURSELF as shown in the image above, a pop-up window will appear. There are two options available, either you can delete all the projects in the workspace and then delete the workspace or add new owners and transfer the ownership to them

To delete your workspace along with the projects, select the option as shown in the left image below and hit REMOVE.

To transfer ownership, type in name of the new owner for this workspace, and then click on REMOVE, You will be successfully removed from the workspace.

In order to add new owners outside the workspace, it is mandatory to add them in the workspace with a role.

2. There are multiple owners in the workspace

When there are multiple owners in the workspace, after clicking on REMOVE
YOURSELF on the settings page, a pop-up window will appear asking for your confirmation as shown below. Click on REMOVE to permanently remove yourself
from the workspace.

Once this is done, this workspace will no longer be visible and it will not show up on your dashboard.

3. Not an owner of the workspace but the sole manager of projects from the same workspace

As instructed in the beginning, after clicking on REMOVE YOURSELF, if you’re a member of the workspace but the sole manager of the projects inside the workspace, then in order to delete the workspace, you need to add new managers to the project.

After clicking on REMOVE YOURSELF, add the name of new managers as shown in the image, and click on the REMOVE button that gets enabled to successfully remove yourself from the workspace.

4. Neither an owner of the workspace nor a manager in any of the project

As instructed in the beginning, after clicking on REMOVE YOURSELF, if you’re a
member of the workspace

and an editor/viewer in all the projects inside the workspace, then in order to delete

the workspace, after

clicking on REMOVE YOURSELF, a pop-up notification will appear, click on REMOVE as shown in the image to

confirm your action and your workspace will be deleted from your account.
