Publishing a Doc

planBIM offers a wide variety of publishing and sharing options so that you can spread your collateral quickly and effectively.

When you edit a file in planBIM Docs, the changes are auto-saved every 10 seconds.

To publish a planBIM document, follow these steps:

  1. Enter a name for your document and select your desired security options (explained below).

  2. Click as shown and change the status of section out of the options, if required.

3. Click "Publish" at the top of the Doc and a dialogue-box would pop-up. Select sections that you wish to publish and hit NEXT. There will be a toggle button that enables you to publish comments along with the document, so choose accordingly and hit PUBLISH at the bottom.. Your document will be published and you will be directed to the page of your Published Docs.

📓Note

You cannot edit a published document. To edit the same document you will have to proceed from the Drafts section and then publish the updated document.
