Scoper can help generate reports in various formats that would make it easier for those project stakeholders that are not on planBIM. These reports would help them understand the scope of work defined for a project in a better manner.
Reports can be exported in 2 formats from planBIM:
Excel
Whether you can generate reports or not depends on the plan that you're on, you’d need a paid plan to generate reports in pdf format and specifically PRO plan to have them in excel format.
Generating a report
Follow the below mentioned process to generate a PDF report from planBIM.
Firstly, click on GENERATE VIEW to create a report.
Choose the format for your report, and hit NEXT. Now, you can enter your document name, decide its document status from the 3 options viz. draft, published and revised. You can add a description to your report for your convenience. Now, click on GENERATE.
The PDF report that will be generated has the following contents:
Cover Page
Table of Contents
Document Status
Revision Status
Abbreviations
Definitions
Introduction
Project Information
Project Team
Scope of work and Project Roles
Software Requirements
LOD Matrix
To generate your report in an excel format,
Click on the option of excel in the dropdown as shown in the image, hit NEXT and you would be directed to your excel file.
The excel report would mainly be in the format of a Model Progression Matrix. Since it's in Excel format, you can customize the sheet further as per your requirement.
📓Note
There is a limit on generating and extracting reports which depends on the plan that you have subscribed. You can refer this table to get an idea of the limit on extracting reports-
Plan | Limit |

PRO | Unlimited PDF and Excel Reports |
Updating reports
Reports in planBIM are not just a one time export. If you or your team have done any changes in Scoper Overview, LOD Matrix or Model Progression Matrix page, you can simply choose to update the report.
In this case, the revision would be auto-incremented and you can download the new version of the same report. There is no need to re-create another report.
