The primary owner is the most powerful administrative role in planBIM. You can become a primary owner by creating your own workspace or if a primary owner chooses to transfer ownership of a workspace. Read on to learn more about this role and how to make sure the right person is in it
Understand planBIM’s ownership policies
The workspace primary owner holds the highest level of permissions in planBIM – only this person can delete the workspace or transfer ownership to someone else. There can only be multiple persons in this role at a time, so it’s important to make sure it’s the right one.
Promoting trusted members to owner and admin roles can help with managing your planBIM workspace. With more owners and admins, you can share day-to-day tasks such as sending invitations and managing workspaces.
You can have as many owners and admins in a workspace as you need.
Here are some recommendations:
Workspace owners might include:
Founders and executives
Senior leadership
Heads of department such as engineering, IT and Human resources.
Admins could be:
Managers
Senior administrative staff
Project managers
IT engineers
If you want to add new owners to your workspace,
Go to your workspace settings
Click on the option Add/remove Workspace owners as shown below
Now click on the field of NAME to get options to choose from, you can add multiple owners by clicking on the ‘+’ icon as shown below
Now click on the button which says GRANT OWNER ACCESS to successfully add owners

In case you want to revoke an owner, click on to the REVOKE button in the respective owner’s row, a pop-up window would appear, hit CONFIRM to remove the owner.
